The ITR Managing Global Tax Summit became an online event to keep tax professionals up to date with tax disputes developments, with sessions designed to meet the needs of tax professionals in an increasing tax controversy climate in Europe and beyond.
Led by experts in their field, these sessions address the current tax issues and bring together senior corporate in-house tax practitioners from a range of industries to discuss practical and strategic issues relating to international tax disputes.

Adly Adly
Adly E. Adly is currently head of tax - BU West Europe (UK & Ireland) at AB Inbev. He has been at AB Inbev for over seven years. Adly has also held roles at PwC and Accon AVM.
Adly has a master's degree in international tax law from the University of Amsterdam.
Sarah Blakelock
Sarah Blakelock is a tax dispute resolution practitioner with significant cross-jurisdictional experience managing complex and international tax disputes.
She has a wealth of experience in advising MNEs and other taxpayers in complex and high value tax investigations and disputes. She is often called in by a taxpayer’s advisors to provide guidance in specific dispute resolution strategy and negotiation, issues of evidence and proof and managing complex cross-border and international tax disputation.
The primary focus of Blakelock’s practice is the management of taxation disputes and their resolution, by negotiating directly with revenue authorities using alternate dispute resolution, and when required, litigating disputes. She is often called upon to advise on existing, large-scale, intricate or complex disputes, where she works closely with clients and their accountants and transfer pricing advisors to resolve the dispute at hand.
Eduardo Flöring
Eduardo Flöring has been Head of Transfer Pricing at Theo Müller for just under 4 years, based in Luxembourg. He is a transfer pricing expert with more than ten years post-qualified experience and a career marked by significant international exposure. Prior to Theo Müller, he was Transfer Pricing Consultant at PwC Deutschland for 3 years and before that he was a Senior Associate with PwC based in Brazil.
Daniela Steierberg
Daniela Steierberg has been VP of corporate tax and customs at Nordex since July 2019. Steierberg joined from Medac, where she had been working for a little over three and a half years.
Before moving to Medac as global head of tax, Steierberg worked for PwC, DLA Piper, Deloitte and Rödl & Partner. She is also active as regional manager for Hamburg in the IFA WIN network.

Yordan Nenkov
Yordan Nenkov is currently head of investment tax at Partners Group in Zurich.
Nenkov is an international tax lawyer with an exceptional track record in structuring complex cross-border transactions for some of the world’s largest investment funds and managing the global tax affairs of large multinational businesses.
He joined Partners Group from Coface in Paris where he was group head of tax and set up the tax team, recognised by ITR as the 2017 Europe in-house direct tax team of the year. Prior to Coface, he worked at Mayer Brown for nine years as a senior tax lawyer in the Paris office.
Nenkov holds a master’s degree in law from Sofia University, Bulgaria and Helsinki University, Finland as well as a master’s degree in corporate taxation from Paris Dauphine University, France.
Enrique Guzman
Enrique Guzman is a transfer pricing economist and an international tax affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He focuses on transfer pricing documentation, planning and value chain analysis.
In his current role at Hitachi Europe, Guzman is responsible for managing transfer pricing documentation (Master, local file and CbC report) for group companies in the EMEA, APAC and America regions. Guzman also works across different sectors including energy, FMCG, technology and financial. He also supports group companies in intra-group financing, business restructurings, risk assessments and transfer pricing policies. He develops strategies for controversies and disputes and preparation of defence files to tax authorities while also benchmarking and preparing of economic analysis.
This webinar will examine the trends in tax audits and litigation over the last two years, with practical experiences of MNEs - in particular those countries that are more developed in their use of other measures besides audits (UK, Netherlands, US, Australia).
Kim Boylan
As Head of White & Case's Global Tax Practice, Kim Boylan is a highly respected tax attorney. She has a long track record of creating innovative, practical approaches for the successful resolution of tax disputes. A renowned tax litigator, she also effectively utilises the IRS's administrative appeals procedures, fast track, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes. As a recognised authority on privilege, Kim often advises companies in connection with the complicated issues that arise in this area, and numerous clients seek her knowledge and insight in judicial proceedings in the United States Tax Court, United States Court of Federal Claims, and in various district and appellate courts. Her practice encompasses Transfer Pricing, as well as the Advance Pricing Agreement process, an area of practice that is greatly enhanced by her credentials as a Certified Public Accountant. Kim is also a member of the J. Edgar Murdock Inn of Court at the United States Tax Court, the American Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.

Brian Gleicher
Brian Gleicher heads White & Case’s Transfer Pricing Practice and focuses on international tax issues with an emphasis on transfer pricing and tax treaty issues. He routinely represents multinational companies in transfer pricing matters, including advance pricing agreements, with the Internal Revenue Service and foreign tax authorities. He also advises taxpayers on proceedings before the US and foreign competent authorities on a broad range of issues, including double taxation, residency and permanent establishment questions. Additionally, Brian represents corporate and individual taxpayers in domestic tax examinations and settlement negotiations with the Internal Revenue Service at the examination and appeals levels. Brian is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and is admitted to practice before the US Tax Court. He is also a member of the Transfer Pricing Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and has served as the chair of the Federal Bar Association Section of Taxation.

Aicha Nianzou is currently working as the global indirect tax director for WABCO in Belgium. He has held multiple roles in IT, quality and tax technology working 17 years for GE. His main areas of expertise are indirect taxes (compliance, risk assessment, recovery), tax technology and quality. Aicha holds a Master in Taxation from the Solvay business School of Brussels.
